45 years ago today an amazing person was born. He was typical boy, naughty but not horrible with it. He grew up to join the Army and for eleven years served his country well. He was part of the Special Forces and spent time in East Germany before the wall came down as a political POW! He did a couple of tours in Northern Ireland, at the height of the troubles. He worked with the Saudi Air force and he worked for the MOD post service and eventually for the NHS. At all times he gave of himself completely. He was still a squaddie when I met him and fell in love totally and completely and he fell head over heals in love with me and mine. We moved in together and for nineteen years he made my life complete. He gave of himself completely; our boys are a testament to all he stood for, honesty, integrity, hard work, knowledge, kindness, compassion, generosity and a sense of humour. Nearly 7 months ago his time on earth came to an abrupt end by forces we had no control over. Our world shattered. Today I KNOW he is still watching over us, he is close by, he still gives of himself completely. Happy Birthday my darling man, loved you then, love you now and always will. Yours forever me xxx
